Products Liability Litigation
Attorneys in the litigation department have experience representing manufacturers in matters involving allegations of product liability. Some of the matters in which the Firm’s attorneys have been involved include:
- Representation of a major corporation in a product liability action seeking in excess of $200 million from it for asbestos-related property damage in a high profile building in New York City in which architectural, engineering and construction-related issues also are prominent
- Representation of a former owner of a chain manufacturer in litigation alleging that certain of the chain manufactured and sold was defective and claiming millions of dollars in damages
- Representation of automobile manufacturers in connection with claims that their products were defective
